3 Cool Ways to Re-purpose Your Candle Jar

Don't throw away your old candle jars! Clean them out and re-purpose them. Here are our 3 favorite ways to re-purpose your candle jars: Terrarium, Flower Vase and Kitchen Storage Containers.

TERRARIUM:
Terrariums are a popular and modern way to decorate any room in your home. Problem is, they usually run on the pricey side-ranging any where from $20-$200 when you buy them at a store. So we've decided it would be a great idea to show you how to make your own terrariums at the comfort of your own home using our classic collection jar for under $10.

Things you'll need:
  • Soil
  • Rocks
  • Sheet Moss
  • A spoon
  • Your favorite succulent
Steps:
Step 1: Poor in the rocks
Step 2: Place in a layer of sheet moss
Step 3: Time for soil. With a spoon put in a thick layer of soil.
Step 4: Place in your succulent
Step 5: Lightly pour water

FLOWER VASE:
Who would have guessed that our classic collection jar would make the perfect flower vase? They are just the perfect size for a bouquet of flowers you would get at the grocery store.

Here's what you'll need to do:
STEP 1: Fill your glass 1/3rd of the way with cold water.
STEP 2: Cut your bouquet of flowers to size.
STEP 3: Arrange your flowers to your liking.

KITCHEN STORAGE:
There's no better feeling than being organized-especially in the kitchen! One of our favorite ways re-use our candle jars is for kitchen storage. You can store your left over rice, pasta, and even candy in these jars. The lids help keep everything fresh and the glass makes it easy to find what you need. They are pretty enough to store on the kitchen counter or tuck away in the cabinet/pantry.
